ASIAN IDOL

Okie… this is my very first time voting for any kind of idols – the very first Asian Idol from 6 countries (Malaysia, Singapore, India, Indonesia, Vietnam and Phillipines). Perhaps I wont be noticing this kind of thing if it is not held at here at this polluted and jammed J-TOWN. Yup we are the host for this big event for the very first time. Applause for RCTI! I wonder why there's no Thailand and Brunei?

And yeah… I’m voting for my country MIKE MOHEDE!!! Ah C’mon. Despite his ‘Winnie the Pooh’ packaging - Mike has the most warm voice that makes your heart flowing and touches your soul. Just listen to his voice and fall in love. His ‘I Believe I Can Fly’ really makes me fly. Not to mention his Indo song ‘Mengejar Matahari’ (Chasing The Sun) which is my fav song. I definitely feel energy. I just won’t get tired listening to him singing again and again and fall in love again ^__^

And my 2nd choice goes to…. (in order for your vote to be valid you need to vote for two countries). Well Phuong Vy from Vietnam is the best packaging and perhaps overly favoured by our own host VJ.Daniel. Perhaps she can win votes from the males. She is pretty, she is sweet and she has nice voice but no. Not my choice. Her first song reminds me of those night life entertainment. And her second song is like a baby's song with that moulin rouge top and ballerina skirt. Wth?

Mau from Phillipine is definitely a diva. But why the hell she sings like those orchestra? Alamak! This is Asian Idol!!! Hady from Singapore? Ehem… he’s charming. He has nice skin tone, nice smile and he has that confidence. And he wrote his own song too! Definitely one of the guy that I’d love to date ;) hahahaha. Well his first malay song was romantic and smoothing. But he didnt do so good with his 2nd song. Perhaps rock isn't for him. But he did surprise me at the end of the show when he sang Indian song. Got to admit I enjoyed it.

Jaclyn Victor from Malaysia would be my choice if they sang a more international and famous song. Her voice is powerful but I cant feel my soul lifted up.
So my choice falls to Abhijeet Sawant from India. Okie… that was tough decision as I never never ever like any Indians. Perhaps I’m racist at times. But look at him, look at that charming smile and most importantly his voice! Omg… I admit his first song of Bryan Adam’s '"Everything I do" really really really catch my heart. It was perfect! I can't believe he can sing such a good English song. And those Bollywood songs… it rocks!

Who’s our first Asian Idol? Seeing the population I think Indonesia and India win the most. Hahaha so you know why we must vote two. Anyway we’ll find out soon live from tomorrow nite. Aw~~ this gonna be my two consecutive weeks of staying at home watching TV on weekends. No clubs. No drinking session. Stay at home and be good. Believe me!

Btw the funny thing earlier was when I searching at google for Asian Idol official website. Turned out I entered Jap's bikini models (- -"). I was thinking there must be thousands of me too. Hahaha anyway this is their official website http://www.theasianidol.tv/
